Trying to ecourage by listening, writing and photgraphing…
I am a free lance reporter and photographer for printed media and public broadcasting stations. During my reporting travels I am trying to understand realities of all kinds of people in Germany, Ireland, France, Israel, Romania and other countries. From these impressions I am forming my articles, photo- and radioreports. My idea behind is: encouraging and empowering people in difficult situations through good exemples given by those I report on.

These may be young unemployed, who create their own jobs and future by building a hanseatic ship like in the middle ages in an economically and politacally abandoned area of Eastern Germany, a Tunesian human rights activist, who risks her life to improve the living conditions of her fellow citizens or Israeli heart surgeons who save Palestinian children’s lives without being paid for their work.There are so many „heroes of daily life“ ignored by the mass media. So, there’s more than enough left for me to do ….

My reports and photographs are published amongst others in the German daily taz, the Swiss weekly Sonntagszeitung, Austria’s „Der Standard“ in travel guidebooks, in public radio such as WDR, Deutschlandfunk, on websites like schwarzaufweiss.de and in major church magazines such as LIMA. I am working in German, French and English language.
